REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026-27 SEASON WAS OPEN FROM JUNE 22 TO JULY 3
Players across the Aurora, Borealis, and Development divisions, including substitute players, goalies, those interested in sharing a position, and beginners are encouraged to register!
Here are a few things you’ll likely want to know: Fees: Our plan is to charge the same as last year for Aurora/Borealis: $560 for regular players and $280 for goalies. Due to the addition of ice times, the development fees will be increased from $420 to $560. This could be subject to change if the City of Whitehorse raises their ice rates significantly, but we don’t expect them to.

- If you miss the registration window, you can still sign up after July 3, but you’ll automatically be put onto the sub list / wait list.
- Ice times begin as of September 17, 2026.
- Date for the draft is August 19th.
- Player team placement is dependent on registration numbers. We will make every effort to ensure everyone who registers has the opportunity to play this coming season. Due to high registration numbers some players will not be drafted onto teams - however:
- They will be put onto the wait list if they are not drafted.
- They can play as a sub - either while you wait for a position to become available, or they may opt to register as a sub player for the entirety of the season.
- We encourage players with limited availability (e.g. shift workers) to share a spot which allows for more roster positions.
- We allow rosters of up to 18 players to accommodate the higher volume of registrants displayed over the past few seasons.
- Player invoices will be sent out post-draft.

Jersey Deposits
We will not have a jersey deposit this season.
This year, the players will receive their jerseys at their first game from their team representative. At the end of the season, they will be expected to return their jerseys to their team representative. Should they not, they will be required to pay a $100 fine and will be ineligible to play in the league the following season.
